Over the holiday weekend when all the big kids and adults were playing card games, Zoie was feeling a little left out. Not quite big enough to play the games the big kids all chose.
So her Auntie decided to do a little DIY craft which kept Zoie busy and happy.
Just fill a balloon as full as it will go with water and a few drops of food coloring and set them outside to freeze. The freezing wasn’t a difficult task given that we’ve had below freezing temps for over a week now.
You can also do this in your freezer, it just takes a while to get fully solid.
The more water you get in your balloon, the better it keeps its shape.
And this is the result!
A beautifully happy kiddo! And some pretty cool yard art! A win!

December 1, 2015 at 2:59 pmWe love Iceballs! I do them every time we get a really horrible cold snap. It’s the one thing that gives me cheer when the weather goes below 25*. The 1st cold snap of the year went so long, we were able to do a couple batches. We actually unwrapped the last ones this morning. Your ice balls looks great! <3
