Good Thursday Morning to you and you and you….
Three things this Thursday Morning and linking up with my #tribe
Kristine at The Foley Fam, Nay at Coffee-n-Ink, and Megan at Absolute Mommy
My three things this Thursday are all about my health journey.
I started this year not worrying about how my body looks, but having healthy goals.
BIG GOALS!
Not skinny goals or fit goals… I have a big goal for me and my family and that is to be HEALTHY!
I want to be healthy for myself, for my family, and for the future that I want to spend with my family.
My goal for 2016 is to be Happy in my own skin!
- I had the whole gym to myself this morning, and my sweet girl, Ari, made me a killer play list. I got to blast it out loud today since I didn’t have to worry about anyone else hearing it.
It was amaze-balls! - Right across the street from my gym is a McDonalds. I was starving this morning so I felt like a McMuffin sandwich was calling my name as I ran… but my family is in the year of no McDonalds so no McMuffins for me.
- Finished my workout and made it home safely without a drive through stop AND made myself a Vegan Chocolate Shakeology with a banana. It was delicious and my tummy thanks me. My tummy would not thank me for McDonalds.
Those are my three things this morning.
Go link up with my girls so I can see what your three things are this week.
Happy Thursday!

January 22, 2016 at 1:45 pmThe no McD’s is so much harder than it sounds… some days I really just want some french fries. I can hear them calling to me!

January 21, 2016 at 10:35 pmOh man, we are in the year of no Mccie D’s too! And they are EVERYWHERE. Including the only food by my rural house. I’m proud of you for standing against!

January 22, 2016 at 1:45 pmI feel like I see way more McD’s since I’ve sworn off of it. Their fries have never sounded so good! But we’re holding strong. Good luck to you!!

January 26, 2016 at 9:31 pmSuch a good job. Those temptations are SO hard to resist especially in the beginning of a new routine. I just started a sugar detox. Its much needed and I was proud to steer clear from all the girl scout cookies that came my way today. I swear it was some kind of mean joke someone was playing. But, like you said my tummy thanks me tonight!

January 27, 2016 at 11:55 amYou are stronger than me; I can resist the McD’s, but I don’t think I could stand up again those cookies! Sugar is the hardest ‘drug’ (I think) to get off of… it’s in everything. But once you kick the habit you feel so much better, that’s one of my goals too! Good for you and good luck!
