Yesterday I had planned to write a post on What We Wore.
But since I didn’t get out of my yoga pants and neither did Zoie,
I thought I’d spare you.
But I did get my house clean!
I tried something new from Pinterest !
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Pinterest?
Go follow me HERE.
Since we moved into this house I have been struggling with something dreadful!
Hard Water. Which makes soap scum horribly hard to get off.
Ugh… do any of you have hard water?
Not only does it wreak havoc on your hair and skin, it sucks for keeping things clean.
I’m going to show you a picture of something I am totally ashamed of. My shower.
This thing is a #bitz to keep clean. Seriously!
I can’t keep the hard water marks off the glass, and I SCRUB to clean them.
I’m talking tons of elbow grease people!
I’ve always used Comet for cleaning my bathrooms, I have found it to be the best product for me.
But don’t think I haven’t tried everything.
I probably have 1/2 a bottle of every cleaning product invented in my cabinet.
So, after searching through Pinterest, I found 2 things to try.
The first was to use Lemon Dusting Spray, which I found here.
I tried this. I sprayed it on and let it sit for almost an hour.
Then seriously had to scrub to get it off and most of the gunk didn’t come off with it.
So, I tried Vingar and Dish Soap.
There are pins for it all over Pinterest, I don’t know how I missed this before.
Seriously, THE BEST mixture of all time.
1 Cup Vinegar and 1 Cup Dawn Dish Soap
Took my shower from this
Up close… I know it’s gross 🙁
To this!
You can’t even tell there is glass there!!
But I assure you! Its. There. And. Clean.
I am never using anything else again.
I sprayed it on. Waited about 5 minutes. And wiped it off.
The Best Part??
No Scrubbing!!
If you haven’t yet; Go. Try. It.
It only cost me $2. That’s about $3 cheaper than any other shower cleaner.
Now Go! Clean Your Showers!

You know a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I really would want
to…HaHa). You definitely put a brand new spin on a
subject that’s been written about for many years. Excellent stuff, just excellent!
